The MG Hector has been a hit in India, with bookings resuming in September 2019. As a result, the company hiked the prices of the new model by 30,000 or 40,000 rupees, depending on the variant. The petrol hybrid version features a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with 48V hybrid technology and the same power figures. The diesel engine delivers 172bhp at 3,750 rpm and is fitted with a six-speed manual or DCT transmission.
